Westminster Faith Exchange

Westminster City Council began this initiative to encourage dialogue between the Council and faith organisations, and between the different faith communities in Westminster.

Anyone can join in its events and meetings.

Churches Together in Westminster

This interdenominational organisation promotes activities to bring together the clergy and congregations of places of Christian worship in Westminster. Together they explore what ecumenism means, enjoy fellowship, and come to know other Christians in the area.

Interchurch Families

This association is designed to help couples in which each partner belongs to a different

Christian denomination or who have difficulties due to a lack of up-to-date information or

support from their churches.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Every year in the week before the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul (January 25th), the Christian churches promote a week of prayer for Christian unity. We share a variety of initiatives with our Christian neighbours in these days and throughout the year. These include joint Stations of the Cross during Lent and a joint blessing of the palms on Palm Sunday.

Council of Christians and Jews

Established during World War II and having the King as its Patron, this important organisation welcomes anyone interested in promoting good relations between Christians and Jews. There are talks and events throughout the year and anyone can become a member. Contact: cjrelations@ccj.org.uk
